I'm Neily, your PMU girl and I am beyond thrilled you are here! My journey into the world of PMU began with a deep desire for building strong relationships and community, more balance, freedom and the opportunity to empower others to feel as beautiful as they truly are. In June 2022 I became a certified PMU artist, specializing in microblading, shading, powder brows, combo brows, lash enhancement liner and lip blush. My commitment to excellence does not stop there as I am also WHMIS and bloodborne certified because your safety is always my TOP priority.
I am proud to bring my expertise to the charming town of Okotoks just inside Unity Collective Studio! My mission is to make your PMU experience stress free, collaborative and luxurious - one stroke at a time. Your brows define your face, and with our PMU brow services, you can wake up with perfectly shaped, long-lasting brows every day! Choose from:

✨ Hybrid Brows – A mix of hair-like strokes and shading for a natural yet defined look.

Not ready for PMU? No worries! We also offer brow shaping and tinting to enhance your natural brows with a more temporary, polished look.

Microblading/Hybrid Brows
Hybrid brows are a combination of microblading and microshading. I create tiny hair-like strokes with a manual tool then microshading is done using a brow tattoo machine in between those strokes creating a very soft natural looking brow.

This is to make your eye POP and no more fussing with eyeliner! It involves tattooing an ultra-thin line along your lash line to create the illusion of fuller, darker, thicker lashes

Pre-Care Requirements

no alcohol 48 hours in advance

no caffeine the morning of your service

no botox 2 weeks prior to your service
-
no fillers 4 weeks prior to your service

avoid sun and tanning 1 week prior to your service
-
do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or advil/ibuprofen 24 hours prior to your service
-
discontinue glycolics, chemical peels and retin-A 4 weeks prior and 2 weeks after your service
-
discontinue the use of retinol products or strong skin care products 1 month prior to your service
-
no brow waxing or tinting 1 week prior to your service
-
you must discontinue the use of any type of accutane 1 year prior to your service
-
no latisse on the treatment area for at least 4 weeks prior to your service
After Care Requirements
-
gently blot treated area with a clean dry cotton round for the first 24 hours
-
for the first 5 days blot the treated area gently in the morning and night with a damp cotton round
-
DO NOT pick scabs
-
avoid excessive sweating, long hot showers, swimming or any activity that may add moisture to the area for the first 10 days
-
do not apply make-up or additional products on the treated area until the scabs healed
Who is NOT a good candidate for permanent make-up (PMU) services?
people who are on Accutane or have taken it within the last year
people who are pregnant or breastfeeding
people who are affected by AIDS, HIV or hepatitis
people who have a history of keloid scarring
Brow Healing Stages
You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers
The healing stages.....trust the process

Day of procedure: you will LOVE your brows and won't stop looking at yourself! They may be a bit bold and fresh
-
Stage 2: next few days you may notice your brows getting slightly darker while the pigment oxidizes, don't stress they will soften up
-
Stage 3: 5-7 days post procedure your brows may start to flake or scab DO NOT PICK you may pull out pigment so please just leave them
-
Stage 4: after flaking/scabbing is done your brows may look a bit light or like they have disappeared, don't worry the color will bloom again!
-
Stage 5: brows are back baby but may look a little softer then when you initially had them done and there may be some patchiness which is all normal
-
See you at your 4-6 week touch up where I will freshen up your brows, fix any patchiness and make them look better than new!
Booking & Cancellation Policy
A $75 deposit is required to reserve your appointment for each service. The deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation occurs within 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
